Darrell Griffin hopes to celebrate signing a new three-year deal by helping Huddersfield Giants to victory in the Challenge Cup final.
The giant forward will look to lead Nathan Brown's men to success at Wembley on the back of securing his future at the Galpharm Stadium until the end of the 2012 season.
"I'm really pleased to sign this deal," said the 27-year-old. "I've improved as a player under Nathan Brown and I'm sure there's more to come from me and from the team.
"Obviously Wembley is going to be the highlight of my career so far and I am sure that, with the way the club is strengthening and developing, we'll be involved in many more big games."
Brown added: "He took a little bit of time to adjust to my coaching style but over the past eight to 10 weeks he has been making a very positive contribution."
