Hudson goes back to the Jungle

R LeagueHooker Ryan Hudson has rejoined Castleford Tigers from Huddersfield Giants on a four-year deal.

The 28-year-old England and Great Britain international spent two seasons with the Tigers from 2002-2004 before making the switch to Bradford.

However, a two-year ban for a doping offence meant he never pulled on a Bulls' shirt before resuming his career in Huddersfield in 2006.

After two seasons with the Giants, the Leeds-born ace is set to return to Cas for four more years and is looking forward to lending his experience to a talented bunch of players.

"I'm relishing coming back at Cas and looking for a new challenge with the club," he said.

"They have top-six ambitions and are recruiting well with some good players coming on board. I will be looking to bring some additional leadership.

"There are already some top players at the club and some great youngsters.

"I hope that I can play my part in helping us to reach the heights that the club have achieved in the past."
