Harlequins' Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Wakefield's Richard Moore have both received one-match bans for fighting on Sunday.

McCarthy-Scarsbrook was banned and fined £200 for headbutting Moore in Quins' first game of the Super League season which his side lost 10-8, and as a result he will now miss his side's trip to Warrington on Sunday.

Moore was handed his ban and fined £300 for punching McCarthy-Scarsbrook, which means he will miss the Wildcats' visit of Catalans Dragons.

Meanwhile, a Rugby Football League disciplinary panel fined Salford full-back Karl Fitzpatrick £200 for striking an opponent in the Reds' pre-season friendly against Widnes. However, he escaped a ban which means he is clear to play in their opening game of the season at Hull KR on Sunday.
