Tony out of Wembley tie

Hull FC full-back Motu Tony has been ruled out of Saturday's Challenge Cup final with a knee injury.

Coach Richard Agar's 19-man Wembey squad does include half-back Richard Horne, but he has only a slight chance of playing after recovering from a serious neck injury.

Agar told BBC Look North he had not decided whether the 26-year-old was ready to play.

"The neck is fine and 100% but he has lost a lot of weight - he's well underdone in terms of conditioning," he said.

"We will take some guidance from the player himself on whether he's mentally ready but I think he has been in the game long enough to know he would only go out there if he was confident he could be an effective player."

St Helens prop Jason Cayless misses the showpiece event because of a knee injury sustained on Sunday.

Saints face an anxious wait over the fitness of Great Britain prop Maurie Fa'asavalu (hamstring).
