Scunthorpe midfielder Mark Duffy says he can sympathise with the current mood amongst the club's fans.

The Iron faithful made themselves heard during Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth at Glanford Park.

The result stretches their losing streak to three matches and they currently sit three points adrift of safety in the bottom four.

"I do (feel sorry for the fans), to be honest with you," he told the club's official website.

"I used to go and watch Liverpool all the time. And when you pay your money you're entitled to give your comment, really."

Brian Laws side, who recorded back-to-back away wins in November, travel to play-off hopefuls Leyton Orient on Saturday.
