Scunthorpe's latest signings Jon Parkin, David Mirfin, Jamie Reckford and Robbie Gibbons are all hoping to make their debuts at Yeovil.

Manager Alan Knill could be further boosted by the return to contention of skipper Cliff Byrne (groin), striker Jordan Robertson (hip) and midfielder Jimmy Ryan (knee).

Midfielder Michael O'Connor is expected to shake off a groin injury in time to be included in the squad and defender Christian Ribeiro, on loan from Bristol City, is hoping to make his third appearance for the club following concussion.

Summer signing Damien Mozika is closing in on his comeback following a long-term ankle problem and continues to be monitored.

Midfielder Michael Collins (Achilles), plus strikers Connor Jennings (foot) and Matt Godden (hip) remain sidelined as the Iron chase only their second league win in their last 12 matches.
