McSheffrey blow for Iron

Scunthorpe have been dealt a blow with the news that Gary McSheffrey's hamstring injury is likely to keep him out for the rest of the campaign.

The 31-year-old sustained an injury in the goalless draw with Wycombe at the weekend and scans have since revealed he has torn his hamstring.

Midfielder Sean McAllister injured his rib in the same match and is expected to miss Saturday's clash with Torquay.
