Lazio defender Modibo Diakite's agent says no move away from the club has been agreed yet but admits he could leave Rome in January.
The French defender has refused to negotiate a new contract with Lazio and, with his current deal set to expire in June, the Serie A side are ready to cut their losses in the new year.
As a result of the 25-year-old's refusal to sign a new deal, boss Vladimir Petkovic has left him out of his first team squad for the majority of the season.
Fiorentina are reportedly ready to end Modibo's troubles at Lazio but the defender's agent says there is no truth to the rumours he has already agreed in principle to move to the Viola or any other Serie A club.
"It is not a given that he will leave in January," representative Ulisse Savini told La Lazio Siamo Noi.
"The player is training with the squad and is doing so in a professional manner. It is obvious that he wants to play, but that hasn't happened up until now.
"But there are no agreements with any other clubs. That's just journalistic invention.
"I haven't spoken to Fiorentina since the summer, there is nothing in those stories. It is the same with regard to presumed offers from Milan, Inter and Juventus..."
