AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has praised Mario Balotelli for his fine debut performance for the Rossoneri on Sunday.
The Italy international, who completed his move from Manchester City to Milan last week, was selected in the starting line-up against Udinese after Giampaolo Pazzini sustained an injury in the warm-up.
Balotelli bagged himself a brace in the 2-1 victory for Milan and Galliani was delighted with his new striker's performance in a hard-fought victory on Sunday.
He told the club's official website: "He (Balotelli) is a big-time player and he started after Pazzini got injured; football is strange.
"Balotelli's two goals were a sign of fate."
