Sheffield United have completed the double loan signing of Matt Hill from Blackpool and John Egan from Sunderland.

Versatile Hill has penned a deal until the end of the season while Egan has agreed a month-long stay with the Blades, who were down on numbers defensively until the pair's arrival.

Hill has struggled to force his way into the Tangerines' starting line-up this term, making just five appearances for Ian Holloway's men, while Egan spent time out on loan at Crystal Palace earlier in the campaign.
