Sheffield United remain in talks with Watford duo Tommy Smith and John-Joe O'Toole plus Bristol City's Michael McIndoe.

The Blades have offered £1.8m for Smith as they look to add to their forward line while O'Toole is known to fans after a loan spell last season.

Robins winger McIndoe has also been the subject of an accepted bid and negotiations are ongoing.

Boss Kevin Blackwell told the BBC: "We are in discussions with all three and I am sure fans will agree they are all quality players.

"We have to build a squad that will give us more options next season."
