Let's roll our sleeves up - Wilson

Danny Wilson has issued a rallying cry to his Sheffield United side ahead of the weekend's trip to Notts County.

The Blades have failed to win any of their last three league games and have suffered back-to-back defeats at Bramall Lane.

Wilson's side has also been hit by a number of injuries and they find themselves six points off the automatic promotion spots.

But the United boss wants to see his side bounce back and catch Tranmere and Doncaster.

He told the Blades' official website: "We have several voids left by the recent injuries and we have been caught out.

"We looked too open defensively, we were loose on Saturday and certainly missed the three or four injured lads.

"Time is at a premium at the moment and all we can do is make sure we have bodies ready if called upon, youngsters included.

"But, we are still in a good position. Perhaps we have to put our foot down and believe because we are only dipping our toes in at the moment.

"Let's roll our sleeves up and give it a damn good go. The ultimate aim at the end of the season remains the same."
