Laws rules out star sales

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws says none of his young stars are for sale as the transfer deadline approaches.

Laws has had to fend off interest in his young players all summer and this week reports have resurfaced that Coventry are in the hunt to sign Richard Wood.

However Laws has played down the rumours and says no-one is for sale.

"I saw Chris Coleman at a League Manager's Association meeting a while ago and he asked me about Richard Wood. I Told him 'forget about it, you're not having him but thanks for the interest' and that is the last time I spoke to him," Laws told the club's website.
