Sheffield Wednesday striker Marcus Tudgay wants the chance to speak to Burnley about a move to Turf Moor.
Tudgay has been the subject of a £1.75million offer from the Clarets but boss Brian Laws says the player is not for sale and wants him to sign a new deal with the Owls.
Laws claims the deal has been agreed and just needs signing but Tudgay's agent Darryl Powell says that is premature and says his client would like to hear what Burnley had to say.
"Everything has not been agreed," he revealed. "If an opportunity arises, Marcus would like to speak to Burnley. That is nothing against Sheffield Wednesday - which is a fantastic football club - but when a Premier League club shows interest, you want to take a look."
