Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne has paid tribute to boss Mauricio Pochettino for giving him a "licence to go forward".
Clyne missed an early chance in the defeat at Spurs on Saturday and the defender admits he was disappointed not to grab a goal.
However, Clyne will continue to provide support in attack and the full-back has paid tribute to Saints boss Pochettino for encouraging him to get forward whenever the opportunity presents itself.
He told the club's official website: "I'd like to see my chance again to correct myself on where I went wrong because as soon as I took the shot I thought it had gone in. Sadly it brushed past the post instead.
"I do feel as though I'm playing very well. I'm a fit lad, so I just keep on going really. I'm enjoying my football and I'm happy to be here really.
"He (Pochettino) gives me the licence to go forward to help out in attack as well as in defence which is what I like to do so I credit him for it."
