Falque set for Saints bow

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins may hand a debut to Spanish midfielder Yago Falque for the visit of Leicester.

The 22-year-old joined the Saints on loan from Tottenham this week and has impressed Adkins in training.

Top-scorer Rickie Lambert serves the final game of a three-match ban so strike duo David Connolly and Guly Do Prado look likely to continue in attack after both scoring in last week's comprehensive 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest.

Steve De Ridder returned to the bench for the victory at the City Ground following a groin problem and is pushing for a starting place but Jose Fonte remains doubtful with a toe injury.

The Saints are without midfielder Richard Chaplow (knee) and defenders Dan Seaborne (head) and Radhi Jaidi (knee) for their first home game of 2012.
