Tottenham and Chelsea have reportedly moved ahead of Arsenal in the summer race to land Southampton starlet Luke Shaw.
The 17-year-old left-back has had an outstanding season so far for the Saints and has regularly been linked with a move to one of the Premier League big boys.
Arsenal were thought to be leading the way for him with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger hoping to lure the teenager to north London in a similar deal to the ones he negotiated for Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the past.
However, fresh reports say Chelsea and Spurs are now set to offer in excess of £15million for Shaw in the summer in order to tempt him away from St Mary's.
Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino is not thought to be under any pressure to sell the defender, who only signed a new five-year deal at the start of the year, but a huge offer could tempt the club - especially if an agreement to loan him back for the whole of next season can be put in place.
