Mauricio Pochettino is set to have six attacking players fit and available for Southampton's league trip to Newcastle on Sunday.

It will be the first time since the new Saints' chief took over from Nigel Adkins that he will have a full complement of forwards at his disposal.

Skipper Adam Lallana is now fully fit following the knee injury he picked up at the start of December and will be available to start the game at St James' Park after coming off the bench in the 3-1 win against Manchester City, while record signing Gaston Ramirez and Guly do Prado are also fit after missing the game because of respective injury problems.

Pochettino must decide whether to stick with Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez and Jason Puncheon, who all featured in the win against the Premier League champions, or change things around to accommodate the fit-again stars.

Meanwhile, Danny Fox and Luke Shaw both have a chance of recovering from respective ankle injuries, while central defender Jose Fonte is battling back from a knee injury.
