Poortvliet happy with squad

Southampton manager Jan Poortvliet has said he is delighted with the strength in depth that the side now possesses.

However, the Dutchman still hopes to bring in one more player who can add some versatility to the squad before the transfer window shuts on Monday.

Poortvliet also admitted the club are still trying to trim their wage bill which could leave the manager's hands tied.

"I am totally happy, because we have everything we need and even more than that,"said Poortvliet.
