Championship sides Leicester and Millwall are reportedly set to fight it out to sign Guly do Prado from Southampton this summer.
The 31-year-old Brazilian has struggled for action during the Saints' first season back in the top flight with seven starts, despite having been a key man in the successive League One and Championship promotion seasons.
Guly's struggle to persuade former boss Nigel Adkins and current incumbent Mauricio Pochettino to play him in the Premier League has not been helped by his goal drought which stretches back to January 2012.
Guly, who has a year left on his St Mary's contract, recently vowed to work hard on his form over the summer to ensure he can get back amongst the goals if he is handed an opportunity next season.
He said: "I wanted to be playing more, but what has happened this season has made me even more determined to show what I can do next season for the team."
However, Pochettino could look to offload him in the transfer window if Leicester and Millwall firm up their reported interest in taking him.
Despite Guly's barren spell it seems his 11 goals in the Saints' 2011-12 promotion season still makes him an attractive proposition for Championship clubs.
