Southampton will head to West Brom on the opening day of the season before Sunderland visit St Mary's the following week.
Saints lost both matches against the Baggies last season without scoring a goal but will hope for a turnaround in fortunes given Mauricio Pochettino's plans to strengthen his squad.
Sunderland will then make the long trip to the south coast on August 24 before the Saints travel to Norwich City on August 31.
The end of November throws up tricky back-to-back away games at Arsenal (23) and Chelsea (30), while newcomers Cardiff provide the opposition on Boxing Day and Chelsea visit St Mary's on New Year's Day.
The season draws to a close with an away game at Swansea on May 3 before Manchester United come to St Mary's for a potentially vital game for both sides on May 11.
