Southampton are set to rival Everton, West Brom and Swansea in the summer scrap for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.
Sinclair, who is currently out with a blood clot, is being made available for transfer by City after failing to make an impact in the first-team following his move from Swansea last summer.
The Welsh club are keen to take him back but Sinclair may be reluctant to return under a different manager, having played his best football there under the now-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
WBA boss Steve Clarke knows him well from his time at Chelsea, but Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino is also said to be interested and could offer him a potential route to showcasing his talents in a World Cup year.
Sinclair is desperate to break into the England fold, but knows he must be playing regularly to catch the eye of Roy Hodgson.
