Saints boss Alan Pardew has made his third defensive signing this month after completing a move for Norwich defender Jon Otsemobor.

Pardew has agreed a six-month contract with the former Liverpool and Crewe full back and the free transfer signing could make an immediate debut at Millwall on Saturday with Graeme Murty still struggling with an ankle injury.

Otsemobor, who is 26, is the third player brought in by Pardew to strengthen his backline since the transfer window reopened following the earlier signings of Dan Seaborne from Exeter and Jose Fonte from Crystal Palace.
