Turks monitoring Saints striker

Galatasaray are ready to rival Juventus for Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo's signature this summer, according to reports.

The Turkish champions are believed to be on the lookout for a new forward as they prepare to lose Didier Drogba at the end of the season, the Ivory Coast international having set his sights on a move to the MLS this summer.

With their talisman set to leave, Galatasaray are keeping an eye out for a replacement and manager Roberto Mancini is thought to have added Osvaldo to his wish list.

The Italy international is currently on loan at Juventus until the end of the season following a series of off-field incidents at Southampton and has admitted he would be interested in making his switch to Turin permanent come the summer.

Saints are keen to sell Osvaldo but only if they recoup all of the £12.8million they paid for the striker last year.
