Mark Wotte wants the takeover situation at Southampton sorting as soon as possible otherwise he fears a mass exodus is on the cards.
The Pinnacle Group's takeover deal has hit a stumbling block and even though Matt Le Tissier is confident it will soon go through, Wotte has his concerns over keeping the squad together.
"Out-of-contract players have deadlines with other clubs who want to sign them," Wotte told BBC Radio Solent. "We need to get the situation sorted so that the club can move forward."
One player Wotte is keen to get sorted is captain Kelvin Davis, whose contract is up at St Mary's.
"I know Kelvin is keen to sort his situation out, whether it be a new contract with us, or talking to clubs elsewhere," he added.
