Southend have snapped up Burnley's Luke O'Neill on a month's loan.

The defender spent the first-half of the season on loan with York, making 16 appearances, but now joins up with Phil Brown's side who are pushing for promotion.

O'Neill has made one appearance for the Clarets this season in their FA Cup defeat to Southampton after being recalled a day early from his spell with the Minstermen.
