Paul Sturrock will be forced to change his winning formula for the FA Cup trip to Bury.

Sturrock has named an unchanged starting line-up for the last five matches stretching all the way back to the 3-2 win at Bristol Rovers - the club's first match back in league action after their 3-0 FA Cup first-round success over Stockport at the start of November.

But that must change at Gigg Lane with 12-goal leading scorer Britt Assombalonga and midfielder Tamika Mkandawire, on loan from Watford and Millwall respectively, both denied permission to feature by their parent clubs.

Sturrock will also assess one or two other unnamed players as the Shrimpers bid to make the third round for the first time in four seasons.

"We've got a couple of niggles and knocks but we'll give them every opportunity to grab their chance," he told the club's official website.
