Derek McInnes gave special praise to Murray Davidson following St Johnstone's 1-0 win over Hearts on Saturday.
The Saints boss watched on as his team picked up a crucial three points against the Jambos, with Kenny Deuchar scoring his first league goal of the season.
McInnes was delighted with the display and felt his team 'deserved to win', picking out Davidson's display as a highlight of the success.
The manager said: "There were some really good individual performances. It was Murray's best game for a while.
"He's had groin problems and hasn't trained much, and he missed Wednesday's game against Dundee United with illness.
"It's a credit to him how he set the tempo and made his mark on the game, but he wasn't alone in that."
