Officials from all 12 Scottish Premier League clubs are meeting at Hampden Park to discuss a proposed new television deal.

Reports suggest a joint bid from Sky Sports and American broadcaster ESPN is being considered as the SPL looks for a new deal to replace the one it had with Setanta before it went into administration.

It is thought to be worth considerably less than the £125m four-year contract that was in place with Setanta, although there are believed to be other options open to the League.

An official announcement on the deal is not expected until the end of the week at the earliest with all 12 clubs required to vote on a formal resolution, which must be supported by a majority of at least eight to four.
