St Mirren boss Gus McPherson is sweating over defensive injury news but is hopeful Chris Innes will be fit for the trip to Motherwell.
Innes aggravated his ankle problem in the 1-0 defeat at Hearts at the weekend and MacPherson will give him as much time as he can to prove his fitness, while Lee Mair has a groin injury that has kept him out of the last two games.
"Chris has had an ankle problem for the last few weeks and was struggling with it after the Hearts game," McPherson said.
"We won't know about him until later this week. He'll be touch and go for the Well game.
"Lee is doing rehab with the physio and hopefully he will be back in training by the end of the week but we are unsure on that just now as well."
