Stoke could rekindle their interest in Ghana utility man Haminu Draman after he was loaned out by Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 23-year-old, who impressed for Ghana's 'Black Stars' at the World Cup three years ago, has been on loan at Russian club Kuban Krasnodar since February after the Potters failed to agree a deal with Lokomotiv during the last transfer window.
Draman is valued at £2.5m and is interesting Blackburn Rovers now, according to reports this week, but Tony Pulis could go back in for the left-sided player.
However, with the African Cup of Nations set to take place in Angola next year, Pulis would be faced with the prospect of losing a high proportion of his playing staff if he added more African talent to the squad.
