Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic has decided to join Stoke on a season-long loan, according to reports in Spain.

The Potters have been chasing the player for the last two weeks, and boss Mark Hughes has been waiting patiently as he mulled over his options back in Spain.

However the Spanish press claim his decision has been made and he has opted to try his luck in the Premier League rather than take up offers to stay in La Liga.

Hughes said he was hopeful that Bojan would opt for the Britannia Stadium and if the reports in Spain are to be believed, then he was right to be confident.

The 23-year-old has seen his career slip a little, but the signing would still represent a huge coup for Stoke, who will offer him the chance to get his game back on track.
