City coach's Fuller warning

StokeFirst team coach Mark O'Connor has warned that City could face Spurs without Ricardo Fuller if he's not back from Jamaica in time.

The club are concerned over the availability of their top scorer for the visit of Juande Ramos' side because of his travel arrangements in getting back from the Caribbean.

Fuller scored a wonder goal on Saturday as the Reggae Boyz rescued their World Cup qualifying hopes with a shock 1-0 win over Mexico. The ex-Southampton striker is set to start against Honduras tonight, which means he may not be back in England until late on Friday.

O'Connor said: "Ric doesn't come back until Friday or Saturday which is a big concern.

"Playing two games with the traveling on top of that, we'll have to wait and see.

"If the gives us the right signals that he's okay it'll be fine if not then he may have to be rested, we'll know nearer the time."

Player-of-the-season Liam Lawrence remains a serious doubt as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
