Crystal Palace are reported to be lining up a swoop for Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam, if they win promotion to the Premier League.
Eagles boss Ian Holloway knows all about the midfielder following their time together at Blackpool and reports claim he wants to link up with him once again at Selhurst Park.
Adam has struggled to command a regular first-team place at the Britannia Stadium after arriving from Liverpool last summer and Holloway tried to sign him on loan before the deadline passed last week.
Potters boss Tony Pulis rejected the approach but he could be more open to a deal at the end of the season as he looks to reshape his squad for the new campaign.
Any move would hinge on Palace winning promotion but there will be no shortage of interest from other clubs if Pulis made the Scottish midfielder available for transfer.
