Reports in France say Marseille are the latest club expressing an interest in Stoke midfielder Seyi Olofinjana.

The former Wolves man, who only moved to the Britannia Stadium last summer, played just two games league since the turn of the year and has been at the centre of speculation over his future.

Despite recently recruiting another midfielder in Lucho Gonzalez, Marseille are understood to be keeping tabs on Olofinjana's situation with a view to a possible swoop.

They will face stiff competition for his signature though, if Stoke decide to sell, with fellow Ligue 1 side Monaco also known to be interested in signing the 29-year-old.
