Hughes 'back in for strike ace'

Last Updated: Mon, 21 Oct 2013 17:17

Mark Hughes will make another bid for Mame Biram Diouf in the January transfer window as Stoke struggle for goals, reports claim.

The Potters drew another blank at the weekend after being held to a goalless draw by West Brom and the need for another striker is growing week by week.

Hughes cannot bring anyone in before January 1 but he can have deals lined up and reports claim he will try and agree a fee with German club Hanover ahead of the window opening.
