Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic could be handed his debut by Stoke boss Tony Pulis against Blackburn on Saturday.

The former Portsmouth keeper joined in a £3.25m deal before the transfer window closed on Monday and is now in competition with Thomas Sorensen for the number one position at the Britannia Stadium.

Elsewhere, defender Abdoulaye Faye is battling to overcome a back injury but Pulis has no other injury concerns ahead of the home clash with Rovers.
