Stoke City's £15million goalkeeper Asmir Begovic could be in line for a move to one of the Manchester clubs during the summer.

The Potters number one looked as though he may have been on his way out of the Britannia Stadium during the January transfer window, with the acquisition of £4million Jack Butland from Birmingham.

The youngster was loaned back to St Andrews until the end of the campaign, indicating that the Bosnian will be offloaded for a large fee in the summer.

The 25-year-old insists that he has not agreed terms with any other club yet and will wait until the season is over until he speaks with anyone else.

"I read in the papers that I said no to City and yes to United." said Begovic.

"But the truth is, I haven't decided on anything.

"I didn't say yes or no to anybody. I haven't signed anything - no contract, no pre-contract.

"But I believe that Stoke didn't buy Butland to be a reserve, so I think I'm going to be sold in the summer."
