Stoke have no new injury problems ahead of the trip to Arsenal but new boys Jack Butland and Brek Shea will not figure.

Butland, a £4million capture from Birmingham on deadline day, has been loaned back to Birmingham, while USA international Shea still recovering from a foot operation and is ruled out.

The Potters are hoping full-back Marc Wilson, who has been out since October with a broken leg, will play a reserve game next week as he builds up to a first-team return but the game against the Gunners comes too soon.

Defenders Matthew Upson and Rory Delap both left the club on loan yesterday when joining Brighton and Barnsley respectively.
