Stoke look set to be without Michael Owen for the trip to Fulham but Brek Shea and Marc Wilson could both return.
Owen has been dogged by injury since arriving at the Britannia Stadium in the summer and is fast running out of time as he tries to prove he is worthy of an extended deal.
The striker has now suffered a further setback after picking up a thigh injury that looks set to keep him out of the trip to Craven Cottage.
"We needed to get him games over Christmas but it was difficult because there was so much going on. Once we got Christmas out the way, we arranged two or three games which he was part of," Pulis revealed.
"He trained really well on Tuesday but hurt his thigh and that is a blow for us."
Elsewhere, Wilson is expected to come into the side after recovering from a broken leg, while Shea has also proven his fitness and could start on the bench.
Cameron Jerome picked up a slight knock in midweek but has been passed fit and is available for selection.
