Stoke boss Tony Pulis is planning to raid America once again as he looks to strengthen his ranks in the summer.

Pulis believes there is plenty of quality in Major League Soccer and after already drafting in US internationals Geoff Cameron and Brek Shea in the last 12 months, he plans to add more Americans to his ranks.

The Potters have a scout over the pond checking on players and Pulis has hinted there could well be another new arrival from the United States when the transfer window re-opens.

"America's a new place for us. It's a place where you can get some raw material," he revealed. "The Americans are a bit like the Australians, they are fantastic sports people. The two lads we've brought in have fantastic work attitudes.

"We've got a scout over there who knows the league very well and we might add another one next year. We think it's somewhere we can get players from.

"Newcastle have done fantastic with French players and we're trying to find a market that suits us."
