Stoke will check on the fitness of Andy Wilkinson and Rory Delap ahead of Saturday's trip to Chelsea.
Wilkinson limped out of last Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich after picking up a hamstring and was replaced by Jermaine Pennant, who has been in the headlines over the last 24 hours.
Pennant has denied rumours of yet another fall out with boss Tony Pulis after an alleged drinking incident so it will be interesting to see if he gets the nod if Wilkinson misses out.
Meanwhile, Delap also has a hamstring niggle that forced him to miss the Canaries clash and Pulis will hand them both late fitness tests before deciding on his starting eleven.
Meanwhile Tony Pulis is hoping Fernando Torres does not rediscover his touch in front of goal at Stamford Bridge after playing over 24 hours of football without a goal.
"I went to Birmingham and watched him the other night and I thought he did absolutely fantastically," Pulis revealed. "I thought he worked his socks off and that his movement was brilliant.
"He just needs a little bit of luck in front of goal - I just hope he doesn't get it against us on Saturday. His attitude was fantastic."
