Pulis plans more moves

StokeTony Pulis has indicated he will spend again in January's transfer window to further add to the Stoke squad.

The Potters boss made three signings on Monday before the transfer window closed, with the arrivals of Danny Higginbotham, Tom Soares and Michael Tonge.

The triple swoop took Stoke's summer spending to £19million, with ten players moving to the Britannia Stadium, although it could have been more with two deals falling through on Monday.

Cardiff refused to sell Wales international winger Joe Ledley despite a £6million offer from the Potters, while a move for Wigan's Henri Camara was also scuppered.

Pulis was philosophical after the 21-year old Ledley remained at Ninian Park, saying: "I am disappointed because I think Joe is a very good player, but we have to respect Cardiff. He is their player and maybe it was never going to happen."
