Tony Pulis has urged Stoke to push on in the Premier League and get to 40 points as soon as possible after going out of the FA Cup.
The Potters put on a gallant display against Liverpool in the quarter-final clash at Anfield before losing 2-1 and now they are left to focus on the climbing as far up the league as possible.
Stoke are not in any real danger of getting sucked into a relegation battle but Pulis wants to get to the magical 40 point mark and is urging the fans to back them all the way.
Pulis said the fans that traveled to Anfield were again outstanding and hopes to repay their support with a strong finish in the league.
"I'm disappointed for them [the fans]," he told reporters after the game.
"They have been the bedrock of what this club has achieved in the last five or six years that I have been here and I think it shows what we are like as a football club in respect to the community.
"We need them to get behind us now for the last six or seven home games of the season and we still need to get to 40 points. "
