Brek Shea has staked a claim for a place in the Stoke side that takes on Fulham after scoring during a behind-closed-doors friendly.
Potters boss Tony Pulis revealed that the American international had been looking sharp in training and he transferred that to the pitch when grabbing Stoke's only goal in the 2-1 loss at Burnley.
The 22-year-old played down the left wing and was part of a strong Potters side that also included returning defender Marc Wilson, Michael Owen and Charlie Adam.
Wilson also came through the 90 minutes unscathed as he continues his recovery following a broken leg and he too will come into contention for the Fulham game.
Pulis is likely to give them both another run out in a friendly clash as Stoke are without a game this weekend, but will be encouraged by their performances against the Clarets.
