Brek Shea is in the thoughts of Tony Pulis ahead of the Fulham game after impressing in Monday's behind-closed-doors friendly.
The American international put in another assured display as Stoke defeated Scunthorpe 3-1 and coach Mark O'Connor says he will be in contention for the trip to Craven Cottage this weekend.
"It was nice for Brek to play another game," O'Connor revealed. "He's getting to know his team-mates and developing that understanding the more they play together.
"He comes into our thinking for Fulham. He is in the mind of the manager."
Stoke have also been boosted by the news Marc Wilson completed another hour at left-back and could also figure against the Cottagers this weekend if he suffers no reaction.
There was scare when Cameron Jerome picked up a knock and had to go off after just 27 minutes but O'Connor says it is nothing serious.
"It was just precautionary after he took a bit of a knock. He will be fine," he revealed.
