Stoke are reported to be keeping tabs on Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak, who has yet to pen a new deal with the Eagles.
The Australian has impressed since stepping up to the Premier League this season but his future is far from secure and Palace boss Ian Holloway is keen to get him tied down to a new contract.
The 29-year-old will be able to walk away for nothing next summer and could talk to other clubs in January with a view to arranging a move at the end of the season.
Stoke are in the hunt, along with Aston Villa and Fulham, but Palace are planning to hold talks sooner rather than later in the hope they can secure him to a new contract.
