Stoke in defender link

Stoke are being linked with a summer move for Manchester United defender Luke Shaw - although they are not alone.

The 21-year-old does not appear to be manager Jose Mourinho's first choice at left back and reports claim he could be ready to off load him in an effort to get some of their money back.

United paid Southampton £10m back in 2014 for the player who could be available at around half that price in the summer as he will then only have one year left on his contract.

As well as Mark Hughes, Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is keen, as is Rafa Benitez at Newcastle, although their interest depends on the Magpies getting promoted.
