Stoke linked with Marseille ace

Stoke are among the clubs said to be showing an interest in Marseille striker Jordan Ayew.

Mark Hughes is scouring the market for a new striker ahead of the January transfer window opening and Ayew would cost in the region of £3.5million.

Stoke are believed to be keen on a loan move, while it is thought that Marseille would prefer a permanent deal for the 22-year-old, which would appeal to Everton, who are also keen.

Hull City could pip both clubs to Ayew's signature though as they are reportedly prepared to offer Marseille the asking price for Ayew.
