Stoke are being linked with a move for Belgium starlet Laurens De Bock as Tony Pulis searches for a new left-back.

Pulis has been looking to strengthen that area ever since Marc Wilson picked up a serious injury and could now turn his attentions to the highly-rated 20-year-old.

Andy Wilkinson has been playing out of position to cover in the absence of Wilson but he picked up a back injury against West Ham on Monday night and had to be replaced by Ryan Shotton.

De Bock plays for Lokoron in the Belgium Premier Division but would no doubt jump at the chance of a move to England if the Potters firmed up their interest with a January move.

The youngster's stock has risen even further after he was called up to the Belgium senior squad for the first time this week and Stoke will have to move quickly if they wish to secure a deal.

There is interest from other clubs as well with Wolves, Reading and Dutch giants Ajax all said to be keen.
